Nepal, and particularly Kathmandu, is a place I have always loved photographing. These colour film photographs are my way of holding on to the colour, warmth and energy that runs through the city.

The collection follows people through their everyday lives — a shopkeeper at work, a cab driver, people in quiet moments of prayer, a mother with her child, women selling flowers outside a temple. These are small, familiar moments, but together they capture something of the life and character of Kathmandu that stayed with me.
