Dharamshala is one of the places closest to my heart. It feels like a home away from home, and it is a place I have come to know through spending time there and moving through it slowly.

There is a quietness and depth to Dharamshala that I keep returning to. The streets, monasteries and small market lanes; the light filtering through them; the haze of the monsoon; children playing and langurs moving through the surroundings — all of these moments have found their way into this collection.

These photographs are not simply a selection of images I find visually strong. They carry memories and feelings that are deeply personal to me, which is what makes this body of work particularly close to my heart.
