Sehajpal Singh

Portraits are one of my favourite ways of photographing people. No two portraits can ever be the same. Even in the same place, with the same camera and the same light, each person brings something different to the photograph.

The way someone responds to the camera, the way they occupy a space, and what they are feeling in that particular moment all become part of the portrait. There is always an element of the person that reveals itself differently, and I enjoy being able to notice and hold on to those moments.
